Clinical Cases Competition

The annual NI PEAR Clinical Case Competition is a fantastic opportunity to showcase clinically interesting and educational cases. Running since 2023, it has been amazing the quality and calibre of entries has been. From all grades, specialties and disciplines involved in paediatrics across Northern Ireland.

The Clinical Case Competition is now a centrepiece of the NI PEAR Conference, so those who are shortlisted are given the opportunity to present at a regional conference. Winners of the competition also receive a prestigous. trophy

NI PEAR CONFERENCE

The first NI PEAR conference took place in 2025, to great success. At Belfast castle, with an amazing showcase of keynote speakers, workshops covering a wide range of interesting topics and of course, a huge highlight, the clinical cases competition.

We hope that the NI PEAR conference will continue to be a landmark of the Northern Ireland paediatric calendar, growing from the strength to strength with the enthusiasm and qualities of all the amazing people who work in paediatrics in Northern Ireland.
